Our family has been able to trace its roots back hundreds of years. My dad was instrumental in assembling all of this information, even writing a genealogy book about our family. I’m trying to carry on that tradition and have placed most of the information online. You can click here to view that web site.
Back in 1982 we got our first Shetland Sheepdog, Samantha. We bred Sam and kept her only daughter, who was appropriately named Tabitha. Jump ahead more than 30 years, and we keep the Sheltie tradition going.
Zak is seven, and was our first male. We got Cole in 2016 from the same breeder in Chapel Hill.
This is the fourth time I’ve lived in Eastern North Carolina. The first couple of times I lived in Jacksonville, then Wilson and now Kinston.
Thanks to my career, I have moved 18 times (several times within the same city). I have lived in West Virginia (twice), North Carolina (moved back 4 times), South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Georgia and Tennessee.
